HRGO Recruitment are looking for a Kitchen Porter to work in the Windlesham area. This role is temporary for 2 months starting asap. Responsibilities include: * Basic understanding of use of kitchen equipment * Basic understanding of use of cleaning kitchen equipment * Basic understanding of cleaning kitchen surfaces/areas * Knowledge of food hygiene requirements * Use of manual/automatic dish washers * Pot wash * Checking in deliveries * Sorting stock * Ability to work alone * Any other reasonable duties requested by the manager * Basic food preparation skills i.e. veg prep * Prepare and clear food service The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the below: * Level 1 Award in Food Safety * Awareness of Manual handling techniques * Awareness of COSHH and chemicals * Experience of kitchen equipment * Basic understanding of English With the preferable skill sets : * Level 2 Award in Food Safety * Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace * Experience of dangerous equipment * Previous experience Personal Appearance * Clean and tidy hair, long hair should be tied back * Hands and nails must be kept clean and well-manicured * No nail varnish to be worn * No visible body piercing or tattoos are permitted * Nose and face jewellery are only permissible for cultural or religious reasons * A plain wedding band and small sleeper earrings may be worn * No watches to be worn * Personal hygiene must be of the highest standard at all times.
