HR GO Recruitment are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our client's busy team located in Litlington at a village/country pub! You will be ensuring To the kitchen is keep to the highest standard of cleanliness and support the rest of the chef team. Accountability

• To make sure you always wear the full and correct uniform and ensuring good personal hygiene.
• Ensure your knowledge of our Menu and Allergens is up to date.
• Assist the kitchen team and help maintain a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and our guests.
• Follow all Processes and Procedures in place within the Company and always ask for help/advice if unsure.
• Make yourself available for training and communications meetings for which advance notice will normally be given.
• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the Kitchen, its fixtures, fittings and equipment.
• Comply fully with all regulations relating to Health and Safety, employee conduct, hygiene, food handling, fire precautions, emergency procedures and COSHH regulations.
• Ensure all legal and statutory regulations and responsibilities are met in order to maintain a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and our guests.

Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen areas clean and sanitized.
• Wash all kitchen utensils and tools at a quick past to keep them in rotation.
• Support the rest of the kitchen team by taking on food prep tasks when needed.
• Sweep and mop the floors at the beginning and end of shift and be ready to clean up any spills as they occur.
• Arrange equipment and deliveries
• Keep all food and stock areas clean and tidy
• Take out all rubbish and kitchen waste.
• Maintain all rubbish and bin store areas both inside and outside the premises.
• These responsibilities are not an exhaustive list and you may be required to undertake other duties as and when deemed required by the Management.
