The company

Located in the heart of the historic market town of Shepton Mallet, they are a highly respected family business who have been restoring and conserving historic buildings and structures for 40 years.

Currently employing 75 members of PAYE staff, turnover of £9 million, they are unique in the South West for employing directly the full range of traditional tradesmen, including joiners and stonemasons in our workshops.

The Role

We are looking for an experience Joiner.

Ideally candidate to have experience in working in workshop and on site. This role primarily a site role. 2nd fix work

Work to include repairs and replacement to joinery of houses and historic buildings - windows, doors, etc.

Work is high end and candidate would be required to work to very high standard.

Could be the opportunity to Progress into Site Management for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • Qualification city and Guilds or NQV

  • 5 years' experience post qualified

  • Driver and willing to work over Wessex Region

Package

  • £42,000 annual salary DOE ( £30k min upwards)

  • 45 hours per week

  • 22 holidays plus bank holidays

  • Company transport

Travel time from shepton or equivalent / reduce rate £10.50
