Position: 2nd Line IT Support Location: Farnborough Salary: £25 - £28k depending on experience What you will do * You will support and maintain clients core infrastructure, which will cover servers, networks, telecoms, firewalls to start with. * Manage incidents and requests through to completion * Support new IT projects, this could include commissioning and decommissioning of new systems * Liaising with customers and 3rd party software vendors and suppliers. Who you will work with * You will work in a team of 2nd line IT support agents. * The second line have an important part to play with training and supporting the 1st line support agents, so being a good team player is important * Your reporting line will be the Service Desk Manager who overseas 1st and 2nd line support teams. Who you are * Love to share innovative ideas * Enjoys keeping up to date with new technologies within the industry * Passionate about moving forward in all technologies * Enthusiastic about training new and up and coming 1st line support agents, and helping them on the path to 2nd line support * want to grow with the company Experience * 3 years experience in IT line support * have worked with and experience of an ITIL environment * MS server 2012 & 2016, active directory, file permissions * DHCP / DNS Services & firewalls * Good understanding of MS SQL, IS SharePoint, MS Exchange, RDS and terminal Server.
