Confirmed hiring during Covid-19 - Key Worker
We are seeking a candidate who is available for an immediate start to join our client based in Medway.
This role will be to provide 2nd line support to users across the UK. You will be required to provide support relating to hardware and software issues, ie PC's, Desktop and Laptop, associated peripherals, Windows, MSOffice, Outlook, internet Explorer, Telephone system useage, TCP / IP Networking and any new systems that the company may implement.
This role requires you to work within Service Level Agreements, ensuring all requirements are being met.
You will be required to investigate issues and problems reported, resolving through diagnostics and carrying out appropriate action, including escalation.
Other duties include the carrying out of build, configurations, installations and replacements / repairs of systems hardware and software. To investigate new infrastructure products and services, to create and maintain records for users, an inventory of software and hardware at each site, telephone system users and wiring patches and printers.
Candidates interested in this role will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with a proven background of at least 2 years experience of providing 2nd line support within Windows NT, TCP / IP, MS Office, LAN and WAN and voice data networks. You will possess a proven background within an administrative and customer focused environment.
