HRGO are recruiting an IT Infrastructure Project Manager on a 12 month Fixed term Trust contract with potential to extend.
The role works closely with in-house technical expertise, senior IT management and third parties on delivery of technical workstreams, managing supplier performance against agreed timescales. The salary for this position is £41,659 - £47,672 (dependant on experience). This is a full-time position with the option of remote working - although there is the potential to travel to Crawley at times.
Duties include:
Collaboratively plans, facilitates, and monitors progress of the IT programme with key internal and external stakeholders.
Providing dedicated support in driving defined IT workstreams
Supports delivery and pace of workstreams within remit.
Regularly report on, review and present project plans, risk/action logs and highlight reports ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
Comply with Trust governance, policy, and procedures.
Represents the Trust at internal and external project meetings.
Qualifications required:
PRINCE2/MSP Practitioner
Further specialist programme management knowledge or experience to master's level equivalent
Current, clean driving licence
Knowledge required:
Relevant programme management and improvement experience, with a track record of delivery
Experience of producing and managing policies, processes, and procedures
Experience required:
Ambulance or NHS experience at a project management level
Significant demonstrable history of delivering IT projects
Experience of performing systems and/or business analysis to understand end user processes and impact
Previous experience in NHS environment is desirable
Skills required:
Ability to Project Manage high-value, complex implementations
Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to produce business cases and investment appraisals, and experience of managing contractors
Strong analytical and investigative skills
Ability to Communicate effectively with senior management and suppliers
Ability to negotiate, persuade and manage conflict
Excellent IT skills, able to use a wide range of software packages including Visio, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel - produce spreadsheets/formulas etc.
Excellent organisation skills and team leader skills
