The Engineer is responsible for the first line of the IT services desk for office support which includes troubleshooting, application system configuration, email management, desktop installation, printer maintenance etc.

• Take first line of IT services desk for office supporting, include troubleshooting, application system configuration, email management, desktop installation, printer maintenance etc.

• Supervise and manage IT Systems operations (i.e., infrastructure, data storage, network, endpoints);

• Formulate change requests for IT systems (including hardware and software) based on understanding, analysing and forecasting of needs and demands from the business.

• Document operations and management procedures, conduct regular reviews and in turn make necessary changes so as to ensure thorough implementation of IT policies.

• Perform security delegation for authorised users on applications and endpoints.

• Formulate IT disaster recovery plans and arrange for relevant tests to ensure that the plan is in compliance with the regulator's requirements.

• Arrange the recovery of IT service when necessary.

Skills Required:

• Microsoft server and desktop operating systems (2003/2008/2008R2/2012/2016 Server/XP/Vista/7/8/10);

• Core Microsoft infrastructure technologies and solutions (Exchange, AD, RDS, DFS);

• Systems virtualization (VMware, vSphere, Hyper-V).

• Backup technologies (Veeam, Backup Exec, System Recovery, Endpoint Protection, LTO);

• Server hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Hardware firewalls and router configuration.

• Switching (HP, Cisco, Juniper).

• System and network monitoring.

• Languages: English and Mandarin.

Qualifications (desirable and preferable):

• MCSA - Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/Office365.

• MCSE - Microsoft Certified Solution Expert.

• MCITP - Microsoft Certified IT Professional.

• VMware Certified Professional.

• CCNA/CCNP.
