The role involves inspection of fine limit sheet metal parts and sub-assemblies for the aerospace and defence industries. You should be able to confidently read often complex engineering drawings and be familiar with a range of inspection equipment. (Gauges, micrometers, surface testing etc).

We are looking for a sensible practical engineer who understands sheet metal manufacturing and who can work as part of the team with the sheet metal workers to ensure effective solutions are in place to re-act to problems.

You should be familiar with First article inspection reports.
