I am currently on the lookout for an experienced Industrial MIG Welder to join our manufacturing client on the outskirts of Ashford. My client is looking for someone who has a minimum of 4 years of industrial welding experience and is looking for a long-term position. The role will start as temporary but for the right candidate could lead to a permanent opportunity. You must have experience in fabrication, reshaping products and correcting welds as you could be working on jobs as basic fencing posts up to secure facility fencing projects. The manager of the department has a keen eye and can spot potential from hard working candidates and is looking for someone who can work their way up. Most of the team have been with the company for years, a lot who started as apprentices. They offer a great incentive for candidates such as over time, pension and holiday. Basic hours are Monday to Friday 8am-5.30pm anything after 5.30 during the week is paid at x1.25. Overtime is available on Saturdays at x1.25 for anything under 7 hours anything over is paid at x1.5.
