I'm recruiting for a successful Australian manufacturing company who operate as a leading hardware designer and product to market specialist. Over the last few years, they have been cost-effectively re-shoring manufacturing to Australia at their advanced manufacturing facility in Brisbane.

The Role

In this Industrial Design role, you'll be joining a team of Industrial Design, Tool Design and Toolmaking professionals all working together to deliver commercially focused, practical, efficient design solutions ready for mass manufacture. Using SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS Plastics, you will take concepts and turn them into reality. You will also redesign existing products, working across a broad range of consumer and industrial products and clients.

Skills and experience

Degree-qualified in Industrial Design with at least 3 years industry experience, you'll have

• experience in design for consumer-based products for mass manufacture

• rapid prototyping experience with FDM, SLA & CNC

• high proficiency with SOLIDWORKS

• the desire to deliver high-quality, practical outcomes, and be motivated by the challenges of a fast-paced, changing and high-energy environment
