You will be responsible for the efficient management and development of the Human Resource Information Systems, ensuring they meet our operational requirements and drive forward the technology road map. Responsible for developing and maintaining MI and reporting of key people metrics to enable analysis of business performance and impact of People team activity. It is a pivotal role to lead on data analysis within the team, helping drive decision making for People activities using the power of data and insights. Overseeing a team of 8 staff including HR Service Desk and HR Implementation Project Managers. Experience of providing HR data management and security in a HR environment
Understanding of data protection regulations like GDPR
Effectively communicating with the Senior Management Team, and support with all project enquires. You will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases. Make recommendations about the methods and ways in which a company obtains and analyses data to improve quality and the efficiency of data systems.
Specifically, you will ensure our systems meet company reporting requirements across multiple teams and departments with a focus on scheduled, batch and bespoke reporting as well as trend analysis. Using data analysis skills to build sustainable systems, processes, and tools to support the wider People team in recording, collating, tracking and analysing people data to provide a clear insight to inform and shape the people strategy to achieve business objectives.
Crucially, you will operate as an overall system administrator in all HR systems, as you carry out the set-up, configuration, and maintenance of all system background areas. As such, you will take a lead role in implementing system/process changes for business acquisitions or sales.
Experience Required
To be considered as a HRIS Implementations Manager, you will need:
Experience as an HRIS Systems Implementations Manager or similar role with a systems and data emphasis
Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel
Previous work with tools such as PowerBi (or other dashboarding tools like Tableau), querying data from excel or a database and visualisation skills into a dashboard would be beneficial
Experience of providing HR data management and security in a HR environment
Understanding of data protection regulations like GDPR
Ability to work in high-pressure situations
Strong organisational, planning, time, and project management skills
Key responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the following essential functions satisfactorily.
Collecting and interpreting data for internal teams and/or external clients
Collaborate with team members to collect and analyse data, working closely with the HR Operations team
Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
Structure large data sets to find usable information
Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
Work with a team of analysts across the Group and other associates to process information
Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
Defining new data collection and analysis processes
Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions
Preparation of data for bi-annual compensation cycles
Headcount / Workforce planning
Work with HR Ops to ensure that admin/data systems and processes are fit for purpose and adhered to for accurate data input and extrapolation from HR data systems
Coordinate accurate and reliable headcount data to interface with people planning and finance to facilitate workforce planning including data checking from HRIS
