Job Specification POSITION: HR Assistant LOCATION: Malton, Sherburn HOURS: Monday- Thursday 8:15am - 16:40pm, Friday - 8:15am - 15:55pm SALARY: Up to £21,500p/a + benefits Job Purpose To provide an accurate, efficient and generalist HR support to the Human Resources Department on all aspects of the employee lifecycle. HR & General Administration: * Prepare offer letters and issue contracts of employment/offer packs for new employees * Collect/distribute post on behalf of the HR & Payroll Team * Payroll & Time and Attendance Administration: Ensure timely and accurate collation of HR and Payroll data ready monthly pay runs. * Scanning/maintain electronic employee personnel files * Update intranet site with general announcements/new starters & leavers * Provide administration support with HR projects/initiatives as required * Update Org charts for UK & Ireland with transfers, new starters and leavers * Take minutes at meetings as required HR Database and Reporting: * Inputting starters, leavers, change of details onto the HR system * Input completed return to work forms onto HR system * Input disciplinary sanctions, grievances, appeal results onto HR system * Run absence management reports for issue to line managers * System administration - respond to requests for password changes etc. * Car Fleet Administration * Be the first point of contact for Company car drivers and respond to any queries. * Car Fleet administration including the new vehicle order process, sending fines to company car drivers, updating the car fleet spreadsheet with any changes etc. * Payroll * Scanning and filing data and records onto electronic payroll files * Provide support with 3rd party payments/deductions for CSA, court orders etc. * Basic data entry onto Payroll system * Provide support with printing and distributing payslips on a monthly basis Qualifications/Education/Experience: * Previous experience working in a generalist HR administration role (advantageous) * Good working knowledge of HR systems and data reporting * Experience of HR processes * HR qualification or working towards (desirable) * Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (desirable) Skills/Key Characteristics: * IT literate including experience of working with full suite of Microsoft Office packages * Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel * Ability to work as part of a team * Excellent interpersonal awareness and personal effectiveness * Good analytical thinking skills * Excellent written and numeracy skills * Good communication skills - written and verbal * Organisation and prioritisation skills * Personal resilience and ability to deliver Please call Nicola at HR GO for more information on 0151 3474900 or email your CV to nicola@hrgoliverpool.co.uk
