HR & Recruitment Officer

Hourly rate: up to £25 per hour Depending on experience

Working days: Monday - Friday

Working hours: 9:00am - 17:00pm

Location: Cheadle Heath

Job type: Full time - Temp - Perm

Holidays: 20 day per year plus bank holidays

Job Role

This role will deliver an exceptional customer experience to all customers and contribute to the growth of the business by retaining existing balances, attracting new money and leveraging customer relationships to generate leads.

We are looking for someone with a strong customer focus, enjoys a challenge, is great with people and happy to work as part of a small team.

Role Specific

• Recruit staff, which involves developing job descriptions,
• preparing job adverts
• checking application forms
• shortlisting candidates
• interviewing and selecting candidates
• Coordinating and facilitating recruitment and training events
• Issuing contracts to new employees
• Ensuring DBS checks and new starter paperwork are completed in a timely manner
• coordinating staff rotas across multiple sites
• Answering relevant employee enquiries relating to HR and Recruitment systems

Knowledge & Experience:

• A polite and professional telephone manner
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Experience:

Experience in HR/recruitment and a understanding in employment law
