HRGO are currently working with this blue-chip manufacturing company. This role will be fixed term contract for 1 year as HR Advisory, reporting into the HR Manager.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an HR Advisory role, ideally have manufacturing background and be comfortable working independently as well as being part of a team and taking direction from the HR Manager. You will be supporting all colleagues in relation to HR queries, referring more complex issue to the HR Manager, but must be comfortable to work from administration level upwards.
Flexibility is a key element of the person requirement.
The duties include but are not limited to:
Employment contracts and contractual changes - checking information provided by manager, calculate salary, allowance and/or holiday entitlements and update HR system.
Recruitment from start to finish
Liaise with recruitment agencies and agree T&C's
Supporting all employees in relation to HR queries
Maintaining accurate employee records on both the HR database and personal files
Run a monthly holiday accrual report for Finance
Supporting monthly payroll - checking of overtime and changes, checking of final payslips
Disciplinary and grievance - attending meetings to guide and support managers, take minutes and produce associated documentation/letters
Coach managers in conjunction with the HR function at Head Office by providing the necessary guidance on Employee Relations matters
Liaise with legal advisors on more complex cases
Arrange and present a New Starter induction
Manage Maternity, Paternity and Flexible Working applications
Manage Occupational Health management referrals
Keep up to date with new legislation and legal requirements
Liaise with Facilities to arrange Charity events
Raise HR related purchase orders and receipt invoices for payment.
Prepare and create length of service certificates and letters for upcoming anniversaries
Manage apprenticeships from start to finish
Sickness absence - Attend meetings with Managers when employees reach high level of absence, take minutes and produce associated documentation/letters
Conduct exit interviews for leavers
Obtaining and reviewing Right to Work documentation
Produce and analyse management information when required and as a result make recommendations to the HR Manager
Liaising with HR system provider regarding corrections/queries
Undertake any other duties which from time to time may be allocated
Previous experience within a HR Advisory ideally within manufacturing preferred
ADP system knowledge
Strong Attention to details
