HRGO Recruitment are currently recruiting for Hospital Porter and Floorman at Carlton Court Hospital , post code for the location is NR33 8AG

It is Full time role which may become permanent for the right candidates.

Hours available are:

8am-6pm Mon-Sun

Pay : £9.50 per hour + 28 days of holiday pay. Paid weekly

Criminal Record check/ DBS checks will be required for this type of work (paid by you).

Key Competencies

▪ To meet operational requirements, demonstrating a high level of flexibility, initiative and multi functionality.

▪ To attend all appropriate training and development as required for this role. ▪ To abide by Logistics Operational procedures.

▪ To carry out manual handling tasks.

▪ To appropriately account for logistics tasks in order to maintain an audit trail. ▪ To drive vehicles and operate mechanical handling equipment on and off site, as appropriate.

▪ To maintain a clean and tidy workplace and vehicle, completing housekeeping tasks as appropriate.

▪ To undertake detached duty at off-site UK locations as appropriate

▪ To carry out period cleaning tasks including floor maintenance and replacing of curtains ▪ To work as a flexible member of the cleaning team providing a variety of effective, organised and efficient services with a high level of customer service.

▪ Be a good communicator and be a good team player

▪ Continuously develop and improve daily tasks as required

▪ To deliver internal post, deliveries and collections on site.

Key Health and Safety accountabilities include:

▪ To comply with health and safety and emergency procedures.

▪ To abide by all appropriate Risk Assessments.

▪ To appropriately wear and maintain all items of Personal Protective Equipment ▪ To carry out vehicle and machinery inspections before use and complete the associated paperwork, as appropriate.

Desirable

▪ Full Clean driving licence

▪ Able to get enhanced DBS clearance

▪ Right to work in the UK

▪ Previous cleaning experience

▪ Previous experience in working in a healthcare environment
