***PLEASE NOTE WE WILL TAKE ON NEWLY PASSED/QUALIFIED CLASS 2 DRIVERS !!!****

Working as a full time Driver at the Gatwick depot .With opportunities to receive overtime and shift allowance. You will be working a mixture of shifts from early to late shifts, with occasional request to work nights.

Working in a fast paced environment the HGV Driver role is pivotal to the success of the business as you will be responsible for loading and driving our specialist rigid vehicles from the airport service department to our airline clients delivering our excellent on-board retail and catering goods in-line with various scheduling agreements.

You will need a reasonable level of physical fitness to do this job as it will require some lifting and bending. If you feel this is the job for you and you have the necessary skills for this exciting role you could be the very person we are looking for.

About the Role :

* You will be loading the catering and bar equipment on to the 17 ton rigid vehicles.

* Loading and unloading a variety of aircraft with the catering equipment.

* Liaising with the cabin crew from the array of airline clientele to facilitate the transfer of the catering equipment to and from your vehicle to the aircraft.

* You will be driving from the main Alpha LSG depot in Manor Royal Est to Gatwick Airport. Ensuring that the goods and catering equipment are delivered on time to the aircraft.

* You will be working as part of a team.

About you:

* You must have a category C ( Class 2) driving licence

* Full CPC

* You must be flexible and have an enthusiastic approach to work

You must enjoy working as part of team in a fast moving environment where deadlines are tight to ensure that flights depart on time.If you are successful we will provide you with full training on all our processes and systems.

In order to comply with the Civil Aviation Authority we must carry out a full 5 year employment history along with criminal records checks. Please note this may take up to 6 weeks to complete !
