HRGO are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Manager to work on a 12 month contract on the Covid-19 testing sites on a remote basis with occasional travel required to sites. You will be required to provide professional advice, guidance and support to the management team on all matters relating to health & safety. You must ensure that health and safety standards are maintained and implement improvement plans where required. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Maintain and monitor an effective management system
• Advise, support and guide all operational staff on the implementation of company health, safety and welfare policies
• Undertake and support audits and inspections
• Investigate and report on any accidents that occur
• Create and maintain written and verbal communication systems

The successful candidate will have as a minimum:

• NEBOSH Certification
• Significant experience in a managerial health, safety, environmental and quality role
• Experience of auditing
• Experience in developing a strong behavioural safety culture

In return, a generous salary along with car allowance / company car will be provided. This role is home based but will require some travel to sites.
