They currently seeking Environmental, Health & Safety, and Facilities Coordinator Hence a key element of manufacturing/logistics site experience is desirable.

OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION 　

Skills & Experience

• NEBOSH, NCRQ, IOSH qualified

• Extensive health and safety and facilities management

• Experience of running health and safety and facilities for manufacturing/warehousing/office site

• Understanding of legal requirements e.g. COSHH, RIDDOR, PUWER, LOLER, Risk assessment etc.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to influence change, improve processes

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills

• Experience of project management - On site Capital investments projects

Health & Safety Job Function/Duties

• Provide onsite leadership for all matters relating to EHS

• Manage Health, Safety & Environmental practices throughout all company activities.

• Maintain accurate risk assessment records and ensure they are reviewed on a regular basis.
• Manage COSHH MSDS databases ensuring COSHH statements are available on all hazardous materials. Ensure that effective risk assessments are in place.

• Conduct and train employees in carrying out risk assessments. Propose, implement and monitor measures necessary to comply with HSE legislation and codes of practice.

• Recommend appropriate PPE for all operations on site, ensure recommendations are adopted and followed through by all employees. (PPE)

• Review and develop health and safety policies, procedures and guidance in keeping with best practice and make recommendations on their implementation and application.
• Carry out or arrange workplace safety audits and ensure any remedial actions are implemented.

• Ensure that statutory requirements are being upheld throughout the organisation e.g. COSHH, RIDDOR, PUWER, LOLER and Risk assessment etc.

• Maintain accident statistics, analyse trends, propose and take remedial action where necessary.

• Investigate or arrange for all accidents and near misses to be investigated,

• Maintain a register of First Aiders and ensure the adequate provision of first aid and welfare facilities. Ensure all first aiders are appropriately trained.

• Maintain registers appropriate to Health & Safety training (e.g. spill response training, DSE, manual handling etc.)

• Develop procedures to ensure that contractors, suppliers, consultants and other visitors to the company comply with relevant legislation and company safety policies.

• Co-ordinate and co-operate with any visiting health, safety and environmental officers as required.

• Work in conjunction with Corporate EHS function and participate in meetings

Facilities Job Function/Duties

• Provide daily management for maintenance team

• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of all structures, including buildings, land, yard and installations. In addition take responsibility for all maintenance tools and equipment,

• Ensure site and facilities are kept at a good level of cleanliness and hygiene at all times. Be the point of contact for contractors supplying cleaning and maintenance services to the site.

• Maintain a record of maintenance requests and their status.

• Manage and liaise with contractors when necessary.

• Manage and control the company's recycling and waste management procedures and practices.

• Ensure as a minimum, we meet all environmental legal requirements

• Identify opportunities for continuous environmental improvement and implement programs to deliver

• Manage departmental budgets and spending

Full time Hours : 8.30 am. to 5 pm. Monday to Thursday and 8.30 am. to 4.30 pm. Friday (with one hour for lunch)
