Our client is looking for a Head of Housekeeping for their established business based in Folkestone. The successful applicant must have experience in housekeeping within a care setting and must be confident in their ability to lead and oversee a small team of cleaners & laundry staff. As a Head of Housekeeping, you will be working alongside your team on the floor, deep cleaning and carrying out spot checks and supervisions. The Head of Housekeeping role demands excellent attention to detail but will also rely on you to motivate everyone in your team to be at their best. Coordination of your staff and time management are key, in order for you to succeed within this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Previous experience as a housekeeping in a care setting

• Have a good understanding of COSHH and Infection control policies and procedures

• Take charge of stock checks and ordering of supplies

• Maintain good communication with the management at all times

• Have a flexible approach to ensure the business needs are met

Hours are 7.30am - 3.30pm and shifts patterns will cover 5 days out of 7 days.
