HRGO Recruitment are looking for a Head of Communication Role. This will be initially a 3 month position but may be extended for the right candidate. The candidate will be Eastbourne based but may be required to travel to all sites
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide professional, strategic and operational communications and engagement leadership for the Trust.
- Devise a communications and engagement strategy and plan that supports the Trust's vision, objectives and values. Lead, support and work with the communications and engagement team to deliver it.
- Develop, advise on and communicate the Trust's core narrative and key messages in order to help our key internal and external audiences understand where the organisation is heading, its strategy and their role or involvement with us.
- Manage and promote the Trust's corporate identity, brand and core sub brands. Ensure they are used consistently throughout the organisation to make the Trust's services, ethos and activities clearly visible. Ensure that the values of the Trust are reflected in all communications.
- Working with the Board to develop stakeholder engagement plan to support the Trust in building sustainable long-term relationships.
- Keep up-to-date with developments and best practice in professional communications and engagement tools, techniques and thinking, and make sure these inform and are used within our own communications and engagement strategies and activity.
- Devise, evaluate and oversee the implementation of effective tailored marketing communications campaigns for key target audiences such as members of the public, patients, GPs and commissioners, using the most appropriate methods to promote maximum awareness of the trust and its services.
- Work with clinical and managerial leaders to support them in their own communications, engagement and marketing activities; helping them to use our corporate identity correctly and to uphold the brand values and reputation of the trust
- Develop the use of metrics and qualitative reports on corporate communications and engagement activities and their impact; report on these regularly and use these as the basis for future planning.
- Alongside developing the Trust's communications strategy, advise on optimum strategies to support individual programmes, projects and issues, along with communications implications of decisions, policies and plans.
