Title: Head Chef/Sous Chef Hours: 45 hours per week Location: Dover Salary: TBC + Benefits We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef for our client based in Dover, Kent. You will be required to: - Organise the kitchen's activities - Be the first in command in the facilities - Create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customer, ensuring high quality and contentment. Responsibilities: - Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities - Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings - Approve and "polish" dishes before they reach the customer - Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages - Arrange for repairs when necessary - Remedy any problems or defects - Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staff - Oversee the work of colleagues under your supervision This position is for an immediate start for the right candidate and it will be working 45 hrs per week 5 days out of 7.
