Permanent Traffic Planner Haulage department - Highbridge Depot Salary: Between up to £32K based on experience Are you an experienced General Haulage Traffic Planner looking for a new challenge? Following Internal restructuring, natural growth and further planned growth for 2019 my client are seeking an experienced Traffic Planner to join an expanding logistics company based in Highbridge Somerset. Duties include: Planning and prioritising haulage delivery schedules Allocate jobs to the relevant drivers Processing quotations and delivery notes Enter relevant data into Mandata General office and administration Your Responsibilities To manage and strategically plan efficient routes To plan shifts and routes that guarantee the optimum flow throughout the various depots Establish best routes to ensure that maximum margin is achieved Proactively react to network disruption, supporting colleagues as appropriate To provide accurate management information as and when required What you should bring to the role: Traffic planning/logistics planning experience is a must Experience of using Mandata is ideal Knowledge of haulage and logistical processes is a must Good IT skills CPC preferred but training can be given We are looking for a team player who is a logical thinker possessing excellent organisational skills.
