In this senior role reporting to the COO you will have responsibility for all warehousing and logistics within the group, including UK, France, Germany and US. You must be operationally and commercially very astute, capable of managing several internal and external warehouse and Logistics Managers. As a naturally strong communicator and influencer, with the ability to coach and mentor your internal and external contacts.
Excellent gravitas, communication, natural leadership skills and the ability to influence and persuade across all levels are prerequisites for this executive level role. The successful applicant:
An individual seeking to develop and progress their careers within a fast-paced, forward thinking and global organisation.
You will have an operational background within logistics distribution, (including shipping and containerisation), warehousing, shipping and supply chain and the ability to apply this experience within a strategic role. Previous experience of managing and delivering projects within distribution/logistics and exposure to project management is therefore preferable. Due to the cross-functional nature of the role, strong team-working and relationship building skills are critical. The willingness to take on a role with a high element of travel including spells spent working away from home will be an essential feature of this position.
