Ground Handling Agent opportunities at Stansted Airport, starting at £9.99 per hour, rising to £11.16 per hour after one year. This is an ongoing contract 24-hour shift pattern which includes nights. Please note you must have a full driving license Duties: * Load and unload aircraft luggage weighing up to 32 Kilos * Be able to work in confined spaces and from heights * Responsible for maintaining safety and security of the ramp at all times * Monitor Customer safety during boarding/offloading of aircraft and assist customers where necessary * Marshall aircraft on the ramp (includes directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft) * Transfer of baggage * Observe safe ground handling procedures and maintenance of ground handling equipment, including the performance of equipment checks * Comply with all safety procedures and Station Policies * Assist in ramp set-up and storage of equipment and baggage communicate with Operations, Flight Crew personnel and other ground personnel Candidates Must: * Provide a full 5 year checkable history on registration * Provide a basic Disclosure Scotland Criminal Record Check (Cost of which to be met by candidate) * Have no criminal record, or any unspent convictions * Be willing to work all assigned shifts covering a 24 hour operation, including weekends and bank holidays * Be at least 18 years old * Be eligible to work in the UK * Hold a full UK/EU drivers licence * Have current and valid photo ID * Live within a commutable distance to Stansted Airport at the time of application If you wish to progress with this application please call Max on 01279 357329 Job Type: Contract Salary: £9.99 /hour
