Position: Graduate Project Planner

Location: Wirral Based Role

Salary: Up to £24,000p/a

Our client, due to continued growth is currently seeking a Project Planner. Excellent opportunity for the right candidate offering a salary of up to £24,000PA dependant upon experience on a permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement Project Monitoring and Reporting System for project manager

• Prepare project plans including schedule and resource requirements

• Research and collate progress data and maintain project plan and prepare schedule, progress, and resource

• Inform Project Manager of issues arising from changes to project schedules and deliverables

• Identify capacity constraints in the business from the project plan interfaces and alert the Head of Projects

• Prepare project reports including narrative elements for both internal and client use

• UK Corporate Quality/Health and Safety/Environmental Policies assistance with the continued development will be required as requested by team manager

• Adhere to and support management in the improvement of companies UK Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) systems and policies

• Work within the companies UK Quality Management System (QMS) and demonstrate a commitment to its improvement & effectiveness

• Promote and share companies UK vision, objectives and values

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level or equivalent with previous experience as a planner/cost engineer. Must be a competent user of Microsoft Excel and industry standard planning software e.g.: Microsoft Project. Ideally you will also have previous experience with engineering projects within the Oil/Gas or Petrochemical industries and an HNC/HND or equivalent in business, management or engineering related study however, not essential.
