Our Harlow Essex based Medical Device manufacturing company is seeking a key logistics candidate within the Quality Control Goods Inwards department Can you perform key tasks within logistics, goods inwards inspection ? Do you have experience within CMM ? Do you have forklift experience (Narrow Aisle an advantage ) ? Can you operate within ERP SOP computer skill set ? Do you have experience within inventory control technology such as barcodes and RFID. Performance Measures * Identifying, count (or sample count), label and locate product correctly. * Carry out goods inwards inspection activities against inspection procedures using CMM * Support in the creation of goods inwards samples, inspection instructions and inspection aides. * Completion of all appropriate documentation. * Carry out and support investigations. * Create reports. * Carry out logistics activities such as works order kitting, stock control, dispatch, export activities. * Support introduction of inventory control technology such as barcodes and RFID. Key Tasks * Carry out logistics goods inwards inspection activities. * Unloading vehicles, using fork lift truck or pump truck where necessary. * Use of inspection equipment. * Use of CMM. * Maintenance of inspection and test instructions and test samples .. * Assess and process using the ERP system customer returns and pass onto the applicable department. * Carry out investigations under the support of the Logistics Supervisor / Operational Logistics Manager. * Produce reports and keep records of inspection activities. * Support Logistic Department activities as directed by the Operational Logistics Manager. * Liaise with internal departments regarding purchase order discrepancies. * To ensure good product storage and product integrity. * Use of computer system to process all associated paperwork. * Inspecting goods to drawing specification.
