Successful small precision engineering company have an opportunity for a general manager / works manager to take control of the running of the company. Equity discussions are possible for the right person!

You should have a solid understanding of the day to running of a precision engineering company and have the skill set, contacts, drive and determination to run and help grow the company while the owner takes more of a back seat.

You will have a solid knowledge of things such as production management and scheduling, tooling purchasing, factory upkeep, health & safety, staff management and motivation. This will be coupled with your charismatic customer facing great communication skills. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience successfully managing a skilled team in a manufacturing company and an understanding of the life-cycle of a new product from initial enquiry through to delivery in precision engineering.
