We are looking for General Assistant to provide full support to line manager delivering excellent customer service ensuring all depot transactions are completed efficiently, accurately and in line with company policies/procedures/processes and customer requirements.
Furthermore service and maintain equipment to specified quality standards, as set down by the company, whilst operating within the company policies and procedures to meet the overall objectives of the business.
Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
This role is very physical with a lot of lifting. Candidate must be able to lift heavy objects.
Ideally you need to have your own transport as no bus run up there.
90% of work is outside so you must be able to work in any weather.
Knowledge/background:
- of shoring/hire industry advantageous
- working knowledge of construction/housing/civil engineering industry advantageous
- knowledge of proprietary shoring equipment advantageous
- knowledge of shoring commercial operations advantageous
- customer service experience advantageous
- ability to complete records, paperwork accurately is essential
- to be flexible, trustworthy and reliable and have excellent time keeping skills is essential
