HRGO Recruitment are recruiting for a Domestic Gas Engineer to join a well-respected and fast-growing plumbing and heating specialist company on a permanent basis, in Northampton. This role offers great career prospects! You will be working on heating, plumbing and gas work, within domestic housing. This is a 100% field-based, and you will be working in Northamptonshire and surrounding areas. Therefore, the ideal candidate will possess good communication skills and maintain professional standards at all times, whilst ensuring that the costumers homes are kept in a clean and tidy manor, and adhere to all health and safety policies. Specific Responsibilities: * Technical diagnosis and solutions. * Perform routine maintenance checks re. Gas and Hot & Cold Water Systems and associated works. * Significant previous experience of Service, Repair & Maintenance of Gas appliances (Gas Fires, Boilers), gained working on domestic / social housing is essential. * Always working to strict Health & Safety compliance. * To plan and organise workload to maximise productive time and ensure the best service to customers. This includes dealing with urgent and emergency repairs and ensuring, as far as practicable, that all appointments and targets are met Qualifications Required: * Candidates must hold a Gas Safe Certificate and relevant qualifications to work on Domestic Gas Appliances. * CCN1, CenWat, HTR1, ACS, CKR1, DAH1 - Ducted Air Heaters * Electrical wiring knowledge would be an advantage. Desirable: * LPG qualifications Transport: Company van & Fuel card and tools provided (however your own tool box would also be required) Salary: Between £33,000- 35,000 per annum depending on experience.
