HR GO Education are currently looking for an enthusiastic permanent Food Technology Teacher to work in a fantastic school based in Tunbridge Wells - starting in September!

A strong classroom presence is key for this role and the ideal candidate will be able to provide effective evidence of this in their prior experience. They will also be able to demonstrate that they have experience working with children with emotional and behavioural challenges - it is an important aspect of the role to be able to form supportive and meaningful relationships with children; encouraging their abilities but also understanding individual differences when it comes to their learning and being able to effectively adapt.

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will have strong subject knowledge that you can demonstrate in your lesson plans - you will be able to continuously engage the students and create an enthusiastic environment to learn. You will also have the ability to monitor pupil progression and relay the information to students, staff, and parents.

Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Hold an Enhanced DBS (can be obtained through HRGO)
• Good subject knowledge.
• Experience of working with students with emotional and behavioural challenges.
• Recent and relevant INSET.
• A confident classroom presence; able to demonstrate strong management.
• Someone who is patient, resilient but above all enthusiastic about the role.
