Food Production Assistant - Barking
HR GO Recruitment are recruiting for Food Production Assistants for our client located in Barking, Essex.
Our client supplies pre-prepared fruit and vegetables to large, prestigious hotels and events.
As a Food Production Assistant you will be working in a temperature controlled kitchen environment. Duties include:
- Peeling and chopping fruit and vegetables by hand.
- Weighing and packing the produce.
- Cleaning and washing up.
Due to the nature of this business, candidates are not permitted to wear any jewellery including facial piercings, false nails and eyelashes are also not allowed. Appropriate PPE will be provided including hairnet, overalls, latex gloves and boots.
Hours: 11am to 8pm or 10am to 6pm.
Working week: Open Monday to Friday. Closed on Saturdays. Open on Sundays. Candidates must be able to work 5 days per week including every Sunday with a day off during the week.
Pay: £10.00 per hour.
