After a very successful 2019 Our Client is planning for further growth and are now looking for a Finance Manager to join the team based in our new Sunderland HQ.

This is an exciting time to join one of the fastest growing companies in the North East. The role will include monitoring the day to day financial operations within the company, overseeing finance functions, analysing financial activities and providing advice and guidance on the future financial plans.

As Finance Manager you will be expected to manage all financial reporting across our business and be an experienced user of Sage and be confident in all areas such as PAYE, Corporation tax as well as cash flow forecasting.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant, not afraid to get stuck in, with a minimum of two year's experience in a small/medium sized business. Ideally a self-starter who is confident in leading a team to the desired results.

What you will be doing.

• Bank Reconciliations

• Adhoc project work as required to support development

• Day to day cash flow management for the business.

• Monitoring longer term cash flow forecast and budgeting.

• General bookkeeping duties.

• Management of sales and purchase ledger.

• Credit Control.

• Overseeing production and review of payroll.

• Generation of weekly and monthly KPI's

• Monitoring and management of invoice discounting facility, including monthly reconciliations.

• Calculation of prepayments and accruals.

• Production of monthly management accounts.

• Reconciliation of balance accounts.

• Budgeting and monitoring of sales performance.

• Inter-company account reconciliation.

• Preparation and submission of VAT Returns.

• Production of draft year end accounts and supporting file for handover to external accountants.
