Position: Finance Assistant
Location: Ellesmere Port
Hours: Monday - Friday 8.45am-5.30pm
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 P/A DOE
Due to growth and success, we are currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join our client based in Ellesmere Port.

The ideal candidate will have gained previous experience within a similar role. Experience of Sage 50/200, proficient in Excel and have excellent verbal and written skills. You will have a positive and proactive attitude as you will be required to assist the team with various ad hoc duties within the department including cash book, purchase, and sales ledger.

About the role:
Your responsibilities as a Finance Assistant would be:
Daily reconciliation of bank account(s), including posting to Sage for any payments/receipts
Responsibility for the operation of the Purchase Ledger
Responsibility for the operation of the Sales Ledger
Daily submission of Direct Debits
Supporting team with reconciliations and adhoc simple tasks towards completion of management accounts
Liaising with the operations department on any queries that may arise
Dealing with daily queries from clients
