Position: Finance Assistant - Internal Audit

Locations: Ellesmere Port

Hours: Monday - Friday between 9am-5.30pm

Salary: Up to £25,000 DOE PA+ Bonus and Additional Benefits

Purpose of Role

This role will support the Financial Controller in terms of Corporate Governance and Internal Audit.

This role will cover the following areas: -

• Undertake risk assessments on agreed activities to support the Internal Audit review

• Produce and present findings from risk assessment and discuss suggested improvements that could be implemented

• Support the review of business processes to ensure their effectiveness for compliance

• Provide support in the implementation of new projects within the Finance Department

Skills and Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Has a positive, proactive attitude

• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

• Ability to think objectively

• Driven to meet personal and departmental deadlines

• Previous experience gained within a similar role
