A great opportunity to join a Market leader based in central Somerset as a multi-skill field Service Engineer. Most of the team are long serving, local men & women. There is a low labour turnover culture at the business. The majority of the workload is Mechanical hydraulics driven however there is also Electrical aspects to this role. You will be visiting commercial and industrial premises. The client is willing to train on skill gaps: so if you are an Electrician; the mechanical skills will be trained and of course vice versa; including the potential for support when attaining relevant qualifications. This role will see you in the field up and down the UK on average 2-4 days per week working with routine servicing, breakdowns, repairs & installs. During down time you will be based on site in Bridgwater. * up to £25k to start *post probation* * £40k easily achieved each year with overtime of 10-15 hours a week * Monday to Friday 0800-1700 * 1.5x OT rate after 5pm * On-call bonus * 1 in 4 weekend call out rota * Holiday * Pension * Use of company vehicles This position isn't just about being a capable Engineer, its about having the right attitude. You are the face of the business when visiting clients around the UK; the high level of customer service is a key factor in what makes this business the success it is. Call out's have on average a 50% chance of occurring when you are on call, this can be at anytime during the weekend. Ultimately we are looking for: * Skilled Mechanical or Electrical Engineer * Preferably hold formal qualifications * Happy with UK wide travel & over night stays * Enthused by regular overtime opportunities * Confident, committed & self motivated
