Job Summary * To provide a proactive and comprehensive post-room service (mail & courier). * To assist with deliveries to the Bank from time to time * To maintain the stationary stock area in a neat and tidy condition and to log all new items of stationery delivered to the Bank as directed. * To cover Reception during early mornings and the lunch hour period. * To set up meeting rooms for external and internal meetings. Monday - Friday Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (1 hour for lunch) Principal Accountabilities * To assist on Reception with early morning and afternoon cover; * To collect the daily clearing from Barclays Bank Plc; * To pick-up the morning post and courier from Reception, stamp and distribute as required; * To handle post-room and courier duties through the day ensuring the correct postage is used on outgoing mails using post room equipment; * To assist with the purchases of daily supplies for office use and maintain an account of all expenditures incurred for checking by the Executive Officer; * To set up meeting venues for internal and external meetings to include the preparation and delivery of refreshments (tea, coffee etc); * To assist with service deliveries as and when required; * To monitor and replenish water cartons within office water coolers as necessary; * To help store away and in need up-date log on stationery deliveries as necessary; * Any other duty assigned by line manager or senior management from time to time. * Good postal/courier delivery service * Good general education Previous post room experience preferably obtained working within a small or medium sized organisation
