Position: Fabricator/Welder

Location: Preston

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm Friday 8.00am-2.30pm (Overtime available paid at time and half Saturday and Double time Sunday)

Salary: £12.50 P/H - Permanent Role

Due to growth and success and with a new site currently under construction my client is currently looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder based in Preston.

About the role:

• Fabrication and Mig welding of our Steel Hoppers, Bailers, and roto crush products

• Any other duties as and when directed from the Team Leader

Job Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ MIG welding experience (essential)

• Experience with metal fabrication, ideally from a steel construction, Skip, Hoppers, Conveyor, recycling background etc (essential)

• Can read and understand detailed CAD drawings (essential)

• Experience working with powered tools such as grinders and drills. (essential)

• Experience and confident in using Guillotines, Pedestal Drills, Kingsland, Steel Band saws (full training will be provided for the right candidates)

• Be able to produce to a high standard of work whilst working under pressure

• Willingness to develop and learn new techniques

• A positive attitude towards teamwork and Health and Safety in the workplace
