Experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic for Busy Workshop

Salary : £24,000 to £27,500 DOE

Must Be Qualified to NVQ or City Guilds Level 3

Our client, a well renowned and highly successful Company based in the Norwich & are looking for a Service Technician/Mechanic to join their team on Perm basis . You must possess at least 2-3 years recent experience as an Auto Technician in a main dealership or Independent workshop, you must be fully qualified to minimum of level 3 as a motor technician with your own tools.

The ideal candidate must be a team player, able to work to deadlines and targets but also be self-motivated, organised and able to multi-task, to cope with the constant flow of work. You will be required to service, do some diagnostics.

Duties include:-

• Repairing and servicing vehicle booked into the workshop

• Diagnosing faults on vehicles

• Carrying out warranty work internal and retail

• Stripping, fitting and replacing components on vehicles

• Dealing with customer queries and diagnosing faults

• Advise Workshop Controller on any further faults where authority will need to be gained prior to work going ahead

• Working to deadlines to ensure that work is completed on time.
