I'm currently recruiting for a Chef to join a well-established kitchen based in Sandwich. My client is an educational establishment and requires someone with an educational background. Due to being an educational institute you MUST have a VALID DBS (formally known as a CRB check.) Also, due to location you must be a driver and have your own car as public transport does not run here. This role is for an evening and weekend Chef so the shifts will be 13.00-19.00 Wednesday to Sunday. * To ensure prompt and efficient service of meals at specific meal times. * To be a key team member and motivate the team you work with. * To ensure food is stocked and rotated as required. * To produce high quality food for pupils. * To ensure the hotplate and fridges are stocked at all times during service. * To ensure kitchen safety and correct use of equipment. * To keep a clean and tidy work area and equipment.
