The role:

• We are looking for someone experienced in delivering Functional Skills in English and Maths, who is willing to take a lead role in the delivery of Functional Skills alongside the related systems, to deliver quality training to our learners in line with IQA and contract standards.
• To oversee and the management and implementation of our Cognassist platform.

• This role is being offered as a permanent position subject to successful completion of a 6-month probation period and a DBS check.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum Level 2 Functional Skills in English & Maths required
• TAQA Levels 3&4 desirable
• Good ICT skills
• Extensive previous experience of delivering Functional Skills qualifications essential
• Outstanding communication, planning & organisation, and excellent attention to detail
• Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and approachable, and able to liaise effectively with learners and outside bodies alike
• Experience of Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) of qualifications
• Robust knowledge of Safeguarding, Prevent and Equality and Diversity
• Experience of Learner Management Systems and Management Information Systems· Understanding of contract implementation, performance review and operational programme responsibility also desirable
