Email Marketing Specialist Bishop's Stortford £26,000 - £30,000 plus excellent benefits An Email Marketing Specialist / Executive is required to join the eCommerce team for a well-known, established and respected local multi-channel retail business. With the ongoing growth of their web channel, our Client is seeking a creative Email Marketing Executive to plan and execute email marketing campaigns and help achieve their ambitious future plans. This successful retail business is not only known locally for its store, but through its mail order catalogue, were they pride themselves on being specialists in selling "function led" products. The role will develop and deliver weekly emails that engage their customers and achieve targets. This will involve developing the customer journey by setting up automated programs such as Welcome and Lapsing along with driving triggered email programs like Cart abandon, Browse abandon and Anniversary. Responsibilities: * Create responsive HTML emails designs and HTML/CSS coding expertise * Write email copy for regular newsletters * Select products for regular newsletters and create compelling offers * Develop automated email marketing programs such as Welcome, Anniversary and Lapsing. * Drive triggered email programs like Cart and Browse Abandon * Run A/B test to establish the most effective campaign * Track and report on email campaign performance go guide improvements * Manage databases and segmentation to implement personalised email marketing * Ensure all email campaigns comply with current email best practice in the industry Experience / Knowledge: * Significant experience of working in a fast-paced online retail environment * Working knowledge of Responsys or a similar ESP * Have a track record of email automation * Working knowledge of Photoshop * Previous experience in a similar role within retail/eCommerce Location: Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire Working hours: 40 hours per week. 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday (Flexi hours option available) Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 + Bonus Benefits includes: * 28 days holiday including bank holidays, increases on length of service to 33 days (incl. statutory) * Attendance & Loyalty bonuses * Staff discount Please bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
