Electrical Test Inspector / Assembler

Established, traditional Electrical Engineering manufacturing company are looking to expand their existing in-house test department and wish to recruit an Electrical Test Inspector / Assembler. The individual would ideally have experience of testing LV electrical distribution assemblies to BS EN 61439 and/or transformer assemblies to BS EN 61558.

The role may also suit individuals with experience of testing electrical control panels, switchgear assemblies, motor control centres or electrical installations to BS 7671

Duties will include:

• Electrical Testing: of LV switchboards, control / distribution panels and transformer assemblies.

• Assembly: Wiring and assembling of various electrical power products such as transformers, portable power products and temporary lighting products.

Requirements:

• Significant experience of both electrical and mechanical assembly.

• Ability to read schematic drawings.

• A good understanding of BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
• Candidates must have good knowledge of AC Electrics circuits, single and 3 phase type applications.

Qualifications:

• An Electrical / Engineering apprenticeship and / or relevant qualifications.

Salary Guide: £33,280 pa, plus overtime at time and a half.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.00am - 4.45pm - 40 hours. (45min Lunch)

Location: Dartford, Kent.
