Position: Electrical Fitter

Location: Preston

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm Friday 8.00am-2.30pm

Salary: £12.50 - £15.00 per hour depending on experience

Due to growth and expansion, we are recruiting an Electrical Fitter for our client based in Preston, this is a permanent role working days.

As an Electrical / Mechanical Fitter, your main role will be to manufacture machinery. You will be part of a highly skilled team of technicians that build and assembles various types of machinery.

Your Responsibilities:

• Installing, Siemens electrical control panels on site

• Working to detailed drawings and schematics.
  To ensure that the build quality is second to none

• Support other teams within the department

• Test and inspection of own work

• Working to job specifications and ensuring you follow strict quality compliance

Essential Skills and attributes:

• Previous experience working from technical schematics.

• Experience with electrical and electronic test equipment.

• Leads by example

• Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.

• Able to interact with customers

• Has good time management capabilities.

• Able to develop and maintain, mutually beneficial relationships with team members and colleagues.

• Demonstrates flexibility in order to address business needs.

Qualification and Experience:

• Electronics/Electrical Engineering qualification desirable

• Computer literate in Microsoft applications

• Panel wiring

• Cable management and termination
