The Role As an Electrical Engineer you will report directly to the Chief Engineer based in the Northampton Factory. You will work as part of the engineering team providing support the factory in order to mechanically maintain the plant and machinery. The Ideal Candidate You will have the relevant training and qualifications as an Electrical Engineer, with experience of electrical and mechanical maintenance of plan and equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will ideally have 17th edition electrical wiring qualifications. Experience working with PLC's would be advantageous as well as within a Food Manufacturing/Factory environment. You will be able to work independently and take accountability for your work. Experience hours 35 hours per week. Pay is based on 37.5 hours per week. Two shifts 6am-1pm and 1pm- 8pm which will rotate on a weekly basis. Overtime is paid accordingly when required, and you may be expected to work night shift on rota. Any overtime is paid at time and a half (double time on Saturdays after 2pm and Sunday's) Salary A competitive salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience. With 26 days holiday per year in addition to 8 bank holidays.
