My client a growing a new build manufacturing site is looking for a Electrical Maintenance engineer
Based Near Highbridge and Mark it is essential you have your own transport
Purpose:
Assist in the management of a system to ensure the timely and efficient maintenance of equipment and machinery.
Participate and lead continuous improvement effort within my client and support customer requirements to achieve significant savings. Improvement projects will be prioritised to deliver the most business value.
To be responsible for the site electrical and mechanical work.
Ensure that the necessary level of Safety and Hygiene policies and procedure are always adhered to.
Support the Planning and organising TPM activities and spare parts system within the business to ensure a proactive approach to machine maintenance.
Fault finding with PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems using logic diagrams.
Active hands-on involvement in machine and equipment maintenance and
installation including dismantling and rebuilds of gears, belts and machine
mechanics.
Completion of electrical installation, electrical safety checks and electrical fault
diagnostics on a range of equipment and machinery
Support the operation with the creation of Standard operational procedure and
training aids.
Ensure adherence to company codes of conduct, Safety, timekeeping, and disciplines.
Identify improvement and Lead the Continuous improvement program for business.
Manage any statutory inspections and certification boards' compliance, liaisons with
insurance companies and other duties in this area.
Responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, including
working with the location's safety teams.
Provide support to the Quality department to achieve third party accreditation and ensure that the appropriate documentation is completed by contractor.
Advise the Operation Manager and production staff on production and plant operation.
To assist the operation on Allergen control, hygiene, and Quality.
To support the development of manufacturing process.
To provide flexible support when required to support other group members
Competency Requirements:

Minimum HNC/HND or degree qualified with I bias towards electrical engineering
18th edition electrical qualifications ( 17th considered)
Previous supervisory experience not essential but previous TPM environment in automated food factory environment is desirable
Computer literate - able to work with MS suites including Word, Excel and
databases.
Skill Requirements:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Salary £32K to £45k dependent on qualifications and experience
Office Hours: Mon-Thursday 08.30-17.00hrs, Friday 08.30 - 16.00hrs
Holidays: 21 Days + UK bank holiday
Contributory Pension: Employer 5% & Employee 5%.
