HR GO Recruitment are currently assisting a well-know client in the Broadstairs area with their search for an Electrical Engineer. Headquartered in Japan, this client are well known for their constant innovation in order to exceed their customer expectations. Our client are looking for a dynamic and adaptable individual to join their team.

Main duties:

• Install new or refurbished equipment for the production plant, and other onsite operations

• Run tests to ensure that new machinery is ready to be implemented

• Repair and maintain existing equipment

• Create and maintain reports relating to the repair and maintenance of the plant and/or equipment

• To determine the cause of any electrical issues on site

• Use appropriate tools and replacement parts to make repairs to the plant and equipment

• Conduct regularly scheduled maintenance on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis to keep machines running as they are intended and to avoid any down-time due to break-downs or improper operations

The ideal candidate:

• Must have an Industrial/Manufacturing background, with experience in a plant environment with large capacity machines

• Knowledge and experience of 3 phase and single-phase distribution systems

• Must hold an 18^th edition certification is essential together with an electrical city & guilds/apprenticeship qualification

• Must be comfortable working in confined spaces as well as heights

• The successful applicant will be required to work shift patterns which will be outlined below

The shift patterns for this role are:

Week 1:

Mon-Thurs: 6am - 2pm

Friday: 6am - 1pm

Week 2:

Mon-Thurs: 2pm - 10pm

Fri: 1pm - 8pm
