E-commerce Web Administrator & Graphics Designer Location: Elstree, Hertfordshire A fantastic opportunity for an E-commerce Web Administrator & Graphics Designer to join the in-house digital marketing team of an established, specialised and respected retailer based in Elstree, Hertfordshire. The suitable candidate will be responsible for maintaining products on the website; ensuring they are effectively merchandised, are in the correct categories and reflect the correct prices, and that all offer codes and promotions are up and running. The E-commerce department is in amidst of a very exciting period and they are looking for someone to help grow this important area of the business and therefore be willing to explore and learn new technologies to increase efficiencies within the department. To be considered for this role it is ESSENTIAL that you have worked in a similar function for another online retailer or ecommerce company. You must be confident working with Magento 1.7, Mailchimp and have Photoshop CC experience. You should have an excellent command of the English language, as although you will not be writing content yourself, you will be required to edit content and will be the final point of call before content is posted to the website. E-commerce Web Administrator & Graphics Designer Objectives: * Responsible for web content management of all the Groups online businesses. * 3rd point of contact for all customer online / telephone / chat queries. Areas of Responsibility: Web Content Management: - * Drive website front-end usability and user experience. * Optimise back-end architecture for site performance and maximum e-commerce conversion, across multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, & tablet). * Clearly communicate solutions to team members both verbally and in written documentation. * Adding, editing and updating products, including images and descriptions. * Work with 3rd party suppliers to design, build and maintain websites using Magento, Shopify & WordPress. * Liaise across all departments to ensure that new ranges, colours and styles are added to the Group websites. * Manage content change requests, adding and editing content using the stock system for all Group websites. * Design, create and manage email marketing campaigns for the Group websites. * Work with the Web and Merchandise teams to develop and prepare new and future products for online launches, including collating product data, acquiring/manipulating images, marketing materials and composing product descriptions. * Work with 3rd party web developers to implement new digital technologies to maximise the customer experience and expand product exposure. Graphic Production: * Creation of graphics for both online and print media, including in-store POS, web and newsletter banners, and social media posts. Customer Services: * Handling customer service queries. * Assist with order administration, order despatch. * Liaise with 3rd party suppliers. Skills Required: * Understanding of order management/customer fulfilment in an e-commerce context. * Proficient in Excel, Mailchimp and Photoshop CC. * Computer literate and understanding of basic web technologies (FTP, browsers, data files). * Familiar with data management. * Previous experience of website or e-commerce CMS. * Basic understanding of Google products such as Webmaster Tools & Analytics would be desirable * Ability to deal with multiple issues and prioritise workloads accordingly. * Excellent organisation skills. * Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure. * Work well unsupervised using own initiative. * Excellent timekeeping, attendance, communication skills appearance and attention to detail. Extensive Working Knowledge: * Magento CMS, Photoshop CC, Mailchimp, WordPress, Excel. Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09.00 - 1730, 1 hour lunch Please bear in mind that you may not hear from us straight away.
