Due to business growth and success HR Go Driving are looking for a Driving Consultant to join their team in Peterborough. This role is essentially maternity cover however performance pending there is also a full time, permanent role available. Salary is dependent upon experience, we are able to take a keen trainee looking for a challenge or an experienced driving consultant. In return, we offer commission (after probationary period) and lots of employee benefits! Your role will primarily operate Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700hrs. You will also be expected to cover the on call outside of office hours during the week and occasionally on a weekend or Bank Holiday in the absence of our weekend on call consultant. HR Go Driving is quickly becoming one of the UK's leading suppliers of both temporary and permanent driving and logistics staff with nine successful driving branches throughout England. We provide all categories of drivers from Van to C+E with the bulk of our work being C+E, for this reason knowledge of Transport and Logistics is desirable, yet not essential as full training will be provided. As a Driving Consultant you will be an outgoing person with excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone / email etc. The successful person will be dedicated, loyal, attentive, compassionate and have a drive to succeed. It is paramount that you are a systematic and logical thinker who can work to a high standard in the most challenging of situations. You will be proactive and work off your own accord and you will be confident and comfortable with working in sometimes fast-paced and stressful environments. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Servicing our existing client requirements whilst maintaining pre-existing excellent relationships * Maintaining relationships and managing our pre-existing drivers work schedules * Business development to assist in meeting financial targets * Recruiting professional drivers to add to our rapidly expanding team * Initiating contact and arranging visits to potential new clients thus expanding our existing client database and maximising profits * Arranging and attending regular service visits with our pre-existing clients * Attending local networking events to raise awareness of our business and what we can offer within the professional driving industry The ideal person will possess the following qualities: * Out-going, friendly attitude * Professional telephone manner * Excellent written communication skills * Driven by success * Fully conversant with all Microsoft Office packages * Computer literate * Full UK driving licence In return we offer a fantastic salary and employee benefits.
