Domestic Assistant

HRGO are currently recruiting for domestic and clinical cleaners to work at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.

You will be responsible for keeping the hospital clean and safe from infection control.

You will be expected to clean departments and wards to hygiene standard, including cleaning floors, work surfaces, furnishings and related equipment manually and by use of machines.

The post holder will also empty, dispose and replace clinical and domestic waste areas.

Experience and Skills required

  • Previous experience working as a cleaner preferred but not essential as full training will be given
  • Good communication skills for communicating to team members, management and customers.
  • Ability to complete and perform manual handling duties.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to any given situation.
  • Teamwork is essential and the ability to support others

Available shifts:

Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm or 2pm -10 pm or 10pm-6am

Saturday and Sunday 13:30 - 21:00 or 14:00 - 21:00

£8.72 per hour and £9.21 per hour at weekends.
