Digital Helpdesk Technician

Job Tittle: Helpdesk Technican - Digital Cinema

Salary: 22.5k plus there will be a shift allowance payment for the Saturday and Sundays worked.

Hybrid Working 3 days in the week , 2 days from home.

HRGO Recrutiment are looking for someone to join our clients Team working within IT where you will resolve customer issues in a professional and competent manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with customers on the telephone, utilising the company telephone system.
  • Responding to customer emails within a timely manner.
  • Using third party escalation portal.
  • Adhering to processes as specified by the customer.
  • Ensuring parts are collected promptly.
  • Ensuring the customer's contractual SLA's are consistently achieved.
  • Using the company service management systems.
  • Methodically resolve issues, following the Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Manage the customers' expectations.
  • Escalate any technical and contractual queries to the appropriate person.
  • Complete any administrative tasks set by the Team Leader.
  • Carry out software updates as per the schedule created
  • Dispatching engineers for breakdowns.
  • Flexible with working hours, shifts include evenings and weekends.

Knowledge, Skills & Expereince

  • Computer literate.
  • Technically minded with a relevant background.
  • Able to work independently and have a pro-active work style.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Desirable:

  • Experience of dealing with cinematic technical issues.
  • Any manufacturer experience, training or accreditations for Sony, Barco, NEC, or Christie projectors would be beneficial.
  • Any additional experience of theatre management systems would also be beneficial.
  • Proven experience of working in a Cinema environment on Digital Cinema Projectors and associated equipment including an understanding of colour theory and its application in relation to cinema. In depth knowledge of Sony, Barco and NEC Digital Cinema Projectors would be an advantage as would a knowledge of automation systems related to lighting, sound, and curtains, etc.
  • Any experience of 3D projection systems and effects that may present as issues or faults. Along with a knowledge of the necessary corrective measures.
  • Knowledge of network fault-finding and corrective measures.
  • An understanding of Health and Safety regulations and practices.
  • Ability and experience of generating reports.
  • Valid, full, clean driving licence.
